It is our duty to be responsible and wise with nature’s gifts.

MONTE BETTOGLI

Located in the Miseglia basin in Carrara (Italy). The Quarry is located on the slopes of the Apuan Alps at a height of 640 metres. This quarry is active all year round and produces high quality marbles such as Statuario, Calacatta, Paonazzo and Paonazzetto, as well as the classic Bianchi di Carrara marbles, Venatino, Statuarietto and Bardiglio.

VERMONT

The Vermont Danby quarry is the largest underground marble quarry in the world. The quarry is entered through the same opening that has been in use for over 100 years. From the outside of Dorset Mountain the quarry looks the same as it did a century ago. From there the quarry twists and turns 1 ½ miles deep where Danby Marble is quarried.

COLORADO

The Yule Quarry was first opened in 1885 and continues to supply some of the finest American marble. The Yule marble deposit was first discovered in 1873 by Sylvester Richardson, a geologist who was originally searching for possible gold deposits, and was named after George Yule, a prospector who first “rediscovered” this marble later in 1874. By accident, 10 years later prospectors in the Yule Creek valley were searching for silver and gold when they found a thick marble vein. The quality of this marble was exquisite, and thus begins the history of quarrying in Marble.

Responsibility and respect. We are artisans and the earth is our resource. It is duty to be efficient, resourceful and wise when giving new life and purpose to these natural gifts.

Our leadership team has visited every quarry we do business with so that we understand the culture and values, first hand.
